Biography
Michal Kauffman is an Ear, nose and throat diseases specialist and head and neck surgeon. Dr. Kauffman is designated as Director of cochlear implant program, Senior Physician at the Otorhinolaryngology Department, Hadassah Ein Kerem University Hospital, Jerusalem. She is handling responsibilities for ear surgeries (for both children and adults) and cochlear implant surgeries.Teaches 6th year medical students at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical School. Serves as a coordinator for the Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology of the Ear-Nose-Throat, Head and Neck Diseases, as part of the Department of Communication Disorders studies at Hadassah College. Moderates academic and research seminars at the Department of Communication Disorders, Hadassah College. Also serves as an examiner at the specialization exams in the field of Otorhinolaryngology. A board member of MICHA Society for Deaf Children, Jerusalem, Member of Israeli Society of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery and Israeli Society of Otoneurology
