7. Otorhinolaryngology, Audiology & Communication Disorders
The diseases of communication include hearing loss, voice and speech disorders, and, on the most essential and significant level, language disorders. The disorders of communication heretofore have not been considered a substantial public health issue. There are no precise figures as to the prevalence of these disorders. The aim of this session is to discuss the hypothetical otorhinolaryngological symptoms in a patient and propose an interdisciplinary approach to their care.
